3 Easy Home Remedies for Dry & Cracked Heels

In any weather - summer, winter, rain we know how to protect our skin but often your feet will dry out and your heels will crack. Maybe it's because you stand for long hours, or you walk, or you wear shoes that don't fit well or you use heavy soaps.

All of this can cause the heels to dry out and produce cracks. This can become dangerous over time as these cracks can bleed even. Luckily you can take care of your heels. If the rupture is caused by a medical condition or surgery do not use home remedies. If it does not stop due to surgery or medical condition, some home remedies may be used to treat cracked heels.

I will tell you three things you can do :-

1. Take warm water from the bathtub and dip your legs in it. This is a simple method used at home. In a warm water bath, soak your feet for 10 to 20 minutes. Gently rub the pumice stone or loofah to remove dead skin. Dry gently with a cloth. Then add petroleum jelly or a thick layer of ointment. This will help soften the skin and remove dead skin.

2. Honey and Aloe Vera are very good. Honey fights bacteria, fights inflammation. Aloe vera is good for the skin. Honey and Aloe Vera can mix. In a bowl, take equal parts of honey and aloe vera. Mix and set aside. First wash your feet thoroughly with soap and water. Apply a thick layer of the mixture to the affected area. Leave it for about five minutes. Wash with ordinary warm water. Then apply cream or oil.

3. Coconut oil, especially virgin coconut oil, is highly resistant to inflammation. It helps to soften and improve the skin. Wash your feet with water before going to bed and pat dry. Take coconut oil between the palms of your hands and gently massage the affected area. Then go to bed. The foot absorbs the oil. This helps to get rid of dirt and wet the foot. You can even apply a thick layer of oil on your feet and put cotton socks over it. Lie down with your socks on and the next day you will not be able to wash your feet. Did these home remedies not work? Give it a try.
