The ban on PUBG Mobile back in September 2020 by the Indian Government brought a shock to the faces of millions of Indian players who were not interested in war. However, according to many recent reports, PUBGM is likely to return to the South Asian country.


The Indian government has applied for a ban on PUBG Mobile and 116 other applications due to its links to Chinese companies. Applications were banned due to data security for Indian users amid growing tensions on the Indo-China border. While the ban is still in effect, it looks like the rays of light may still be at the end of the PUBGM fan tunnel.


Last week, PUBG Corp. has announced a merger with KRAFTON Inc., the South Korean video game company. This business merger will take over PUBG Corp. under the Krafton umbrella and other major changes were announced following this discovery, including "review of terms and conditions (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, etc.) in accordance with the merger."


Many thought that this could signal PUBGM's first move back to India, one of its largest markets in the world. This step is then followed by a collaboration with Microsoft Azure, a computer service platform. Relations with Chinese multinational technology company owned by Tencent Holdings Ltd have also severed in India.


Earlier, TalkEsport only released information that Microsoft was in the race for PUBG Mobile in India. The collaboration between the two firms has furthers PUBG Mobile's speculation that it will return to India.


According to some recent reports from various sources, PUBGM's return seems to be much closer than you might think.




Famous PUBG Mobile actor and content builder Sagar “Maxtern” Thakur says the fight will return in December-January. The official announcement could arrive sometime between December 2-15, according to Maxtern.
