The 2021 Yamaha MT-07, like its older sister, features a refurbished front, with a new Y-shaped design. The central LED headlamp is framed on the sides with two LED lights. Indicators use LED technology.

The covers of the 14-liter tank were rebuilt and fitted with wings on the sides to direct the flow of air into the air.

The 690cc dual-engine CP2 engine has been upgraded. The fuel injection has been adjusted and the air intake has been changed. The engine is designed to provide smooth power and torque delivery. It delivers 54 kW or 73.4 PS at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 67 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This is the only PS under the previous model, which is probably due to adaptation to Euro5.

Also new is the 2-in-1 exhaust system, provided with a silver-plumbing exhaust pipe and new covers. The ECU has also been updated.

The new high performance brakes were pre-installed. The width of the disc brakes has increased from 282 to 298mm. This should improve the performance of the brakes and control without weight gain.

The LCD cockpit has been replaced and is now similar to that of the Tracer 700. The displays are quite large and are displayed with bright black backgrounds. One can use the display with the new switch on the handlebars.

The 2021 model is available in new colors and designs. Black clutch and brake levers should support the essential look. Storm Fluo, Icon Blue and Tech Black color variations are available.

Delivery to European retailers is scheduled for January 2021. The recommended retail price is 7,374 Euro.
