iOS 14.2 is Out! - What's New?

 

Hello everyone. Apple released the iOS 14.2 community. That means it comes from everyone in the world simultaneously on all supported iOS 14 devices. That means if you have the iPhone S six S plus all up to the iPhone 12 phone, you will have this update. And if you don't see it, all you have to do is go to your settings. After that go down to normal, go to the software update and under software update. It should show you the update. If you do not see that update, log in to your automatic updates or download automatically, turn it off, go back and check what will happen and it should be there. And yes, this update has a ton of new features and bug fixes and things, and it should be good for a lot of people.

And I've said this before. I'm not a big fan of this particular color. I wish it could be a little brighter color at night, but I think it would help reduce the overall brightness of the mirror. Also, if you step on one of the rocks, you will have a kind of star-filled sky in the background instead of a sky, and then a little darker. So they are all very good. I think they are good reviews. Also included with iOS 14.2. Now within iOS 14.2, there are more than 100 new emoji and include various animal emoji, food faces, household items, musical instruments, sex-related emoji, and when I pass, you will see that there is a plunger, there screwdriver, hook, boomerang, other skirts with wheels. It uses the LIDAR sensor to emit light and tell you the exact distance to that person and is the direct person. He will probably see many things in the future, such as things and animals. But at the moment it only measures people and will see them. When they are in the square. Now there is a MagSafe accessory. We have not yet seen the phones for the iPhone12 and 12 series. Maybe you can do more in the future where we can use them as ambient sound. That would be nice, but that's an added feature. Now. There are also updates to for exposure updates. So if you have an installed app that you use and enable it, you will have a new option. So when we go into settings, scroll down, go to Display Notifications You'll see that I have an installed app. This does not come from where I live, but it was just an example, if any, there is a new option to provide information about disclosure notices without showing you that you have participated in the public health authorities. You can therefore share that information with your public health authorities. If you would like to do that, definitely anonymously. And if you don't want to use this, of course, you can just close it, close it, and it won't be here at all. You can see if you have caches, but basically when this is turned off, it doesn't work. Now Apple is also fixing a few issues with their widgets. So, for example, one of them fixes the weather widget. So when the temperature can show Celsius instead of a high Fahrenheit. So they fixed that. They also correct where the descriptions of the next hour precipitation chart in the weather can show incorrectly or if they can stop incorrectly. So they fix that. Also edit photos, widget, not content display. I hope there are a lot of fixed issues whether they fix the clock widget or not. 

I'm not sure they didn't say that directly, but I hope they did. Now, if you were using the voice memos app and probably got a call before this update, the phone would stop the voice recording. Now that will not happen. You can swipe the phone, dial away. It will not interfere with the recording of your voice at all. So they fixed the problem. They also fix the problem when you use Netflix and the screen was completely empty, that should be solved properly, uncommonly, specifically for Netflix. And then if you use Apple cash, it may fail to send when you use Siri, this has been a long-term problem. Now they have solved it now. Also, if you use Apple's watch app, for some people, it may shut down unexpectedly. So now has been resolved. And if you use your watch, perhaps to exercise and run, or to just walk around, GPS routes or health data, we are not properly immersed with the now-fixed phone. So that was my wife and my family. That's fixed in this review, great. Now, if you are using Apple Car Play, the sound would be incorrectly called not playing, even if the sound was playing so they fixed that problem. If you had an angry Car Play. And then again if you get a discharge with your device, wireless charging, that has been resolved across the iPhone, so that has nothing to do with MagSafe just anything like that. Some people were charged for their wireless connection at 90% and stopped or at 70%. All of those issues should be resolved now. Now, the other thing they have fixed is maybe going from iPhone 11 to iPhone 12, or maybe iPhone seven to iPhone 12. Whenever you come back from old to new, when you use exposure notifications, it was sometimes overdone and enabled automatically. If you have enabled it before and now it will transfer all settings correctly. So all of that has been fixed and will be turned on if you had it on before, otherwise it will not be turned on. 

So those settings resolved. That's all they've done for the new features, but they've also updated their security, but they haven't yet commented on the security updates. So it's hard to say exactly what they said, but they fixed that now, to the point of applying this when I was using this update for a few days now, and it was very fast on all these devices, so hurry up with newPhone 12, but last year the iPhone 11, 11 pro. They will have the same results. Everything seems really smooth. And for those who have heard that I have been using it for a while. They didn’t really have any complaints. They said it was stable, it worked well and they had no problems at all. So that's a good sign. Now, the full battery life of iOS 14.2 will take a few days to measure for sure, but those who have used releasecandidate or the first version released by developers and beta testers have always had decent battery life. So when we get into battery life, we'll take a look at it, going into the last 10 days. You can see that yesterday I had three hours and 41 minutes of screen time, three hours and six minutes of closing time and I used about 80% of my battery. That’s not surprising with the 11 pro max, but I usually get about six, five and a half to six hours on the iPhone, the 12 pro. If we look at the iPhone 12, we should have the same battery life, maybe a little better, but if we go to the battery, wait for it to load again. You see the last day I used it. I didn't have good battery life there, but I had four hours of screen time, three hours and 11 minutes to turn off the screen. And I also used my 80% battery. The back stage was only two and a half hours long. So it depends on the day, but most people who use it and report back depending on which device they use, most people say they get 10 to 12 hours of screen time they usually have, so that's a good thing. And I see the same thing on the iPad air that I have been using to the full for a while. So again, in hindsight, I have never used it in the past for three days, but even with the RC version three hours and 24 minutes of screen time, and I get impressive battery life by any means. 

I think this fixes a lot of those battery problems that a lot of people have talked about, and I hope it solved it for you. And of course, I will do the following if you would like to inform me of the ideas below. So should you update to iOS 14.2? I would say absolutely. At this point, the performance appears to be of iOS 13.7 or through those lines. So there are no issues where, perhaps even better, the battery issues seem to have been fixed at the point people were worried about with iOS 14 and the overall stability has been good recently. So I don’t worry about too many problems with that. I would definitely improve.
